Beville has completed over 600 projects for many major companies, including BP, Chevron, Citgo, Conoco, Flint Hills Resources, Phillips66, Shell, Valero, Nova, ExxonMobil, and others.
During the past 35+ years, we have compiled our accumulated data from a variety of refineries and other process plants into a large database that enables us to make individual company/unit comparisons to industry averages.
For steady state operations alone, we have amassed over 5 man-years of directly observed data. We have a vast quantity of data available for the other facets of workload as well.
These comparisons then allow our customers to see where they stand in relation to the rest of the industry. They are the starting blocks for many of our analyses, for they show where a company needs to improve in order to become more profitable.
As an example, below are the number of steady state samples that have been collected for a variety of position types:
Position Type | # of Steady State Workload Samples |
Blender | 63 |
Board | 863 |
General Operator | 144 |
Head | 421 |
In/Out | 164 |
Lab Tech | 127 |
Supervisor | 45 |
Tankfarm Field | 236 |
Unit | 1421 |
The data can be further broken down, for example, should you be interested specifically in Alkylation positions:
Position Type | # of Steady State Workload Samples |
Board | 52 |
Head | 33 |
In/Out | 13 |
Unit | 88 |
We can provide comparisons for many different unit and position-type combinations.
