What do I put on Level 1 and 2 graphics?

If you are like many companies, creating the higher level graphics suggested by various publications has proven to be a challenge. Are higher level graphics just stripped down versions of the lower levels? No, but how then can the content be systematically determined? The Center for Operator Performance just completed a study that can do just that by having operators identify data they need to answer key questions. Through cluster analysis, answers to the questions become the content for higher level displays.
